We have some EXCITING updates for you in Q3 of 2024! AND…we have some EMERGENT NEEDS! Read on:
THE JOY HOUSE:
Six siblings (ages 5 to 13) from the same parents (4 boys and 2 girls) have just been placed at The Ranch and live in The Joy House. This beautiful family of siblings will likely be at the Ranch long-term, along with of the other six (6) we already have. Our hearts are full!
THE CHAPEL:
Besides the refreshed chapel for weddings (a gorgeous setting for small to medium-sized weddings), we now have a local start-up church using the facility for weekly church services. Jim Pruett would have been so pleased.
THE HORSES:
All The Ranch horses have had their medical/dental/farrier taken care of in kind, and the small barn has been repaired and is functional again. With new funding, we can take on more horses.
FUNDRAISING:
We are blessed. A professional marketer has offered their services for a crowd-sourcing campaign, which couldn’t have come at a better time. Our financial donations and philanthropy page details how YOU CAN HELP NOW! More soon!
Now for the less-than-exciting news:
During Hurricane Beryl’s assault on the Greater Houston area, we sustained over $30K in storm damage. While we have mitigated the damage (mainly to the chapel and the Joy House), we have some challenging fundraising to do in light of the recent placement of the six siblings. We have a list of things that need to be done? Interested in helping?
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Pray over The Ranch
